I grew up in southern Oregon where, for most of my life, I was extremely overweight. At one point, I reached a weight of over 400 lbs. Going into my sophomore year of high school, I decided to make a change. I started working out and trying to eat better. By the time I graduated, I had lost over 200 pounds and decided to join the US Army, where my passion for fitness and helping people grew even more. After getting out of the Army in 2014, I decided to move to San Diego and attend the National Personal Training Institute, where I became a certified personal trainer. I also took specialized courses such as Corrective Exercise Specialist and Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist. For a while, I worked at 24 Hour Fitness in San Diego and decided to move back to Oregon in 2017, where I continued my personal training career. I am currently continuing my education to become a Physical Therapist Assistant in order to best help people work out with pain-free movement.
